Jeff Jones

Management Accountant

Jeff has worked within the charitable sector for the majority of his working career. He moved to SHAP in 2013 and with the help and support of the organisation became a qualified accountant in 2015. Jeff’s role has evolved significantly during his time at SHAP with him taking a lead role in reviewing/monitoring and updating the financial controls of the organisation as well as providing the management team with the vital financial information required to make strategic decisions and mitigate any internal and external risks.

Jeff’s goals and aspirations are to one day advance to CEO/FD level and he is currently in the process of starting a Masters degree. Jeff believes the valuable experience he has gained working with and learning from his peers will provide the vehicle he needs to achieve his goals.

Outside work Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and is a regular gym goer. He is a proud owner of two Dachshunds named Cookie and Peanut, is an avid golfer and enjoys travelling around the North West of England experiencing new courses.
