Having worked at Shap for 32 years, we can say that Michelle’s commitment to the organisation is simply brilliant – she is extremely passionate about and proud of the work that she and the organisation do.

She works hard to ensure that SHAP’s business and staff are supported by providing high quality, high standard administrative service.  Shap’s Central Business Unit has evolved significantly over the years and in order to keep up with current Government and partner regulation and requirements, the systems are constantly being updated.  This has necessitated the need for consistent awareness and training of the current business needs and Michelle reviews processes as part of this and ensures the team and her have the knowledge needed. 

Outside of work, Michelle’s other interests are socialising with friends, watching St Helens play rugby and walking her 3 dogs.  She has recently started a fitness boost attending weekly zumba classes and swimming.  She enjoys little weekend breaks, visiting places in the UK as well as travelling to other countries.
